Getting a BSR motor apart
I have got an open circuit BSR motor that has worked for many years on a home brew device. It was run at 240V.
I would like to get the core apart and rewind it to a lower voltage. It has a thicker core than the regular ones and may have come from a tape deck. I could obviously rob a motor from a tape deck with an open circuit audio output transformer as I have such a thing to hand. If they come apart reasonably easily I would like to go for something like 20 volts as it is near water. |

It requires a GENTLE knock!! I have "bent" the laminations which makes it very difficult to reassemble accurately. It will still work OK but looks tacky.
