Radio ID? Identified a an EAR Astor.
I'd just like to say hello to everyone.
My name's Robert and I'm trying to get some answers about an old radio that was my late father's. I can't seem to find anything on the name or makers. I know he had it in the early mid 60's. It's covered in what looks like blue vinyl, with a white vinyl stripe around it. On the front is a large tuning dial on the right. On the left is a smaller knob OFF/ON/Volume with a gold centre. the middle knob switches the band. The speaker is on the front with sort of cream/grey colour rough type cloth. Also on the front is a small rectangular badge with two faces back to back with EAR on it. There's a large aerial out on the side of it and that's about it. i hope someone may be able to throw some light on this with my vague description.....or if there's any way I can post a picture. Thank you in advance Robert |

Re: New Member saying hello
We're a friendly bunch: upload some photos of your late father's radio and chances are we can ID it and guide you through the stages to bring it back to working-status.
