Default Kenwood TS711e audio issue?

Guys any ideas … Newly purchased Kenwood ts711e, can’t seem to get any audio from it, occasionally if I press the attenuator button and then the ch.q button I can get about 30 seconds off rf hiss before it just cuts off. If I press the attenuator button whilst there is audio it normally cuts the audio of as well. This is all on ssb can’t get anything on FM mode. Sure I have everything set fine ie. squelch setting and rf gain .

Any ideas ? Anyone based uk able to help me out with reasonable priced repairs ? Unfortunately suffering health issues.. cancer just now and not able to work .

Also noticed occasionally the radio upon switch on will produce rf noise but after so long just cuts out.

Worth talking to Kent Rigs, seem to get very good ratings.

Okay thanks appreciate that. Found earlier tonight that when the problem arose ie. the majority of the time ! that pressing ptt of the mic in FM mode kicked the RF noise into life only to cut out again shortly afterwards ! Thought a sticky relay could have been the issue but unfortunately the ptt method of getting the rx is not working when tried tonight .
