Mystery Object - (Military radio tuning head)
Mystery object. Found in a box of scrap, any ideas? Muirhead dial.Pictures in my folder, 'AM Transmitter'.

Interesting item I presume the TX is 2m. The slow motion drive looks a to be a nice precision piece of engineering.

Wasn't the SM Drive for a remotely tuned Bendix aircraft radio, using a run of that speedometer drive cable between the radio and the operator position?

This is the Bendix aircraft radio I was thinking of, the R101/ARN-6 which is detailed on jproc.ca
Service info on this radio is rather scarce
