I must have missed this thread whist I was taking some timeout from the forum for various reasons…

Anyway, looks a cracking build. I’ll have better peruse of the thread next week.

That's the NFB working for you though... Given that the EL34's distort a bit (they're handling the largest signal after all), if you want a distortion-free output then the signal on the grids have to be pre-distorted in the opposite sense. And that's what the NFB contrives for you!
