I recently aquired in a job lot of surplus 2 Philips PM5680 modulators, on exmination they are clearly not standard modulators but in the limited info I can find on the web intended for broadcast or comercial use. I wondered if anyone on the forum knew more about these units, my first reaction was to break them for spares as they have nice cases for a project and lots of good quality components. However I do like to check before vandalising something. Perhaps keep them for 25yrs for 625 alive on CH21!!
All advice gratefully received. Chris |

I'd keep one working one anyway, 25 years passes quicker than you might think!

No don't scrap them. I am sure there will be a few interested parties from this forum alone.

Thanks for the replies, I won't scrap them, can anyone help with a manual? On the limited data I could find mainly in German they seemed to be designed for feeding a transmitter. Regards Chris
