Default Airmec ae536

First time post. Have an AIRMEC AE536 Serial Number AX2116. Interested in why this seems different than other AIRMECs I have seen listed as Super AIRMEC AE536. It does appear there are two different cabinet backs. I purchased my set in Eastcote, UK, probably in 1997. Can receive very weak/few SW signals, no AM signals. Intend to have it checked over and I will replace the speaker grille fabric.
