Default 3M M23 tape machines

A client of mine has just acquired some 3M track modules from a late 60's M23 tape machine. He had no idea what they are, (I recognised them as tape channel racks but couldn't name the machine til I googled it); and he intends to scrap them for bits in the absence of a better idea. They look pretty expensive, should he be saving them to sell on to a needy tape fan?

Almost certainly worth selling on. Apparently the first 3M Iso-loop machine.
