Re: Ham Int Multimode 2
Sounds like they belonged to a family member, but they're not from the loft of your house.
It certainly sounds like there's some interesting finds none the less - keep members posted on what turns up. |

Re: Ham Int Multimode 2
Thanks again Sirius and Techman for the valuable information. After speaking to family members I found out that my uncle asked my parents if he could store a couple of boxes of bits and pieces in the attic. There was another radio I forgot to mention which I believe was a Major SSB? My cousin had that a couple of weeks ago, it powered up but I can’t say any more than that. My uncle is no longer with us so I can let the stuff go, EBay next port of call! Let you know if anything else of interest turns up.

Re: Ham Int Multimode 2
Interesting stuff.
Major 588, not so good. It's a (very) poor mans Multimode. Major 360, very good. It's a better Multimode without the 'mufflemode' on FM, but unfortunately lacks the Multimode 'tune' (KC shift) control. Be careful how you word your adverts when you sell them on ebay, or you'll have 'comebacks'. Forum rules dictate that we can't get into discussions with regards to ebay, so you're on your own with that one. |
