Default Stereoscopic NBTV in colour

Here is my stereo colour NBTV rig. I've just got it working. To the best of my knowledge, this is the first 3D NBTV since Baird. I append a picture of the camera next to the monitor, with some of the covers still off. Note the washing bowl pressed into service as a viewing hood!

More info about this project HERE - the stereo is dealt with near the end.

This is also a plug for the forthcoming NBTVA meeting at Loughborough University on April 22nd. There will be plenty of gear on show there far more technically advanced than mine.

Impressive work. Well done. So much opto- mechanical work.
Are you a radio amateur and use it with friends on shortwafe?

Kind regards
Darius

In the best spirit of JLB - pressing into use whatever is available.

You're very kind Darius. As I said, other exhibitors at Loughborough are more technically advanced. They are fielding items more like your own endeavours; ie. NBTV standards converters and developing a subcarrier system for compatible NBTV colour.

This is NBTV on shortwave from time to time, but I'm not a ham. My own transmissions go a maximum of twenty metres - the length of the interconnecting cord !
