I had a go at the select on test capacitor for 405. Increasing the value makes the picture larger and it was already loaded with the minimum value of 0.001uF.

I tried removing it and the two silicon diodes I had put in the 12 volt rail but the picture was still too large and that was even true with only one diode in the rail. So I am back with the 0.001uF in place and my two diodes. This takes the rail to about 11 volts.
