Here's LA-based youtuber shango066 loading a Curtis-Mathes all-in-one entertainment `center` onto his pickup.

It contains a Garrard record deck.

Got to love the way the site goes on about those 'masterpiece of American-made tech', yet the electronics are Japanese and the decks are British Collaro or BSR!

Wouldn't fancy lugging one of those out a skip

Hello, sorry when I said twin panel I meant the set had two vertical pcb's, IF on the left and timebases on the right. Valve UHF tuner although I seem to remember later types had a transistorised one, long before the integrated 6 button one.

Could it be a Sears Cartrivision system? An early video recorder using 12.7mm. tape on stacked spools.

As well as the obvious self-recordability, there was the option to rent pre-recorded feature films by post -- the films coming on special cassettes that had no drive to the supply spool, so you only got to watch the movie once! A special rewinding machine would be used in the rental shop.

Lots of sets were starting to look the same, the control layout of this 1972 Zenith is almost a perfect match.

Cheers

Here is a YouTube video of an 8track Greek Radiant TV from the 70s according to the description.
