Doesn't have to be that exact model, there are loads of similar "woodie" 50s sets.

These repairs may be of interest, in particular the Bush-dac10.

The DAC10 is quite a simple circuit, just put together in a different way to some other sets.

The same principles apply though. Good luck with your set.
