Baxandall tone control.
I have just built this tone control , it works very well ,but I need to attenuate it a bit , as the v/c on my amp is only just off the stop , no distortion , what would be the best way to attenuate it , Mick.

Re: Baxandall tone cotrol.
Try changing the 220K on the first stage to 100K - that will drop just over 6dB of gain.

Re: Baxandall tone control.
Rather tan take the 220k out I fitted a 220k across it , which improved things , but ended up fitting a 150k across the 220k , perfect ! Thanks Ted just need to make the case for the amp, when I say case that is the front and two sides . Mick.
