Default Spares LOPT selling cheap

Hi, not certain where to put this, or even if allowed, but looking on CPC and they are clearing out their spares stock of LOPTs for around £1 each, is this a bargain? Bob

Even if you don't need them for a set they can come in handy for generating EHT.

Hello,

The trouble is that they don't give any details of the sets they would fit and their part number in many cases doesn't help, as they are usually pattern parts.

Having said that, they are mainly (exclusively) diode split types from the 1980s and 90s. Nothing from the era most of us are probably interested in, unfortunately!

Regards,

Dazzlevision

No, that's true but in 30 years someone will be after them. Just think if you could go back to the 50's and 60's and buy up some of the parts that were being dumped then. I remember when I started work in 1970 and my first job was to break up old console TV's from the 40's and 50's! I must have destroyed some very sought after sets today!

Even the cores are useful to wind coax on to make HF RF choke (current balun).
