Default Do you recognise this?

Looks like an early signal generator. No manufacturer marked anywhere but has a stencilled "Made in Holland" on the bottom. Any details especially a circuit most welcome. Yes, that is a R1155 tuning dial! The valves are 4v and look from an earlier period.
Sorry for the quality of the photos, only had my phone handy.
Many thanks,
Peter

Looks distinctly of philips manufacturer, maybe a some piece of kit knocked up by themselves for a special purpose that's escaped the factory.

Yes, it certainly has a Philips "feel" about it. I presume that the R1155 dial is a later addition.
Cheers,
Peter

What a great forum.
Ask a question and soon chapter and verse reply appears, brilliant.

Thanks again all those who replied!
Seems amazing that an obscure signal generator from 1935 has so much available on the 'net.
Wouldn't mind the Philips service bench shown in the 2nd picture on here:

Cheers guys,
Peter.

Hallo Peter,
It`s in Archive, please recognise the address writing: http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/philips/Philips , than write in: "2880" and see the resultat = "philips gm2880gb - Bama Boatanchor Manuals Archive - Edebris.com" _not so simple, but does...
