So far as I can make out the sockets numbered 1 to 9 look to be parking places for the fly lead plugs, the other ends of which are connected to the appropriate tags on the valve holders, the two toggle switches look to be a test for grid (g1) current, the other one being an anode link switch connected across the two anode sockets (A1)

Hello,
The photographs of my panel below show that the white tagstrip is part of the original panel and not part of the modification, so the date on it is the date of manufacture of the original unmodified panel. The upper paxolin panel contains B9A and B8A valve sockets which were not in common use till after the war. Yours, Richard |
