Juke Box Amplifier. Just thought I would share this with you.
How to make a silk purse from a pigs ear, this Jukebox amp needed a total strip down and rebuild ,I also fitted a mm pre amp seen on the left with power supply on the far right , and it works very well . Mick.

Very nice, what a difference! Do you have the jukebox it lives in?

Didn’t need a preamp as they were designed for use with a MM cartridge. It’s an AMI or a UK BAL-AMI, both basically the same.

Re: Juke Box Amplifier. Just thought I would share this with you.
Sorry I should have made it clear ,I used the circuit for a Leak tl12 plus the tone control uses the first ECC81 . hence the pre amp .also I don't think it was the original cct as the owner said it was using a xtal cartridge, and was told there was no cct to be had ,thats why I went for a known good design and now with a circuit . Mick.

Yeah, I agree, the TL12 circuit is a classic and I bet it will sound lovely.
