The heat sinks on this chassis are part of the chassis 0v returns

So if there is any bad connection there, you have cracked it.

Think I have it, I replaced a few SMDs with regular Resistors (Thankfully Thomson has an option for through hole in place of SMDs on the board) also had some parts from an ICC5 power supply repair kit that I used and with some adjustments the picture is now stable and E/W is correct....and staying correct even when warm. Hopefully this set wont need anymore work for a very long time, Think I've had the back off this set more times than I've had it turned on at this point.
