Default Taylor 105A Circuit & Documentation wanted

Hi all,

Just picked a Taylor 105A Multi-Range Meter (looks just like a Simpson) off the 'Tuit' pile. It's reading a little low (c.10%) on all DC ranges but the first job is to clean the dead battery goo out from the battery compartment.

In the meantime does anyone have any documentation on it?

Thanks
Colin

I just found one of these hidden in a drawer of junk in my high school's electronics class. I thought it looked awesome and my name is Taylor so my teacher let me take it home.

Batteries were still inside, but I was surprised not to find any goo. Where on earth do you get a 15V battery?

Mine is also reading low on DC measurements.

If anyone has come across any documentation, let me know please.

Thanks as well,
Taylor

They may have what you need. If it's the other 15v battery, a B154, they have it as well.

Ah--your profile says you're in Canada, so you might want info on this side of the pond on that battery--

British ER B154 crosses to an American Eveready 504
British ER B121 crosses to an American Eveready 411

Batteries Plus will easily have them, and other online sites should as well.
