Default Hammersmith Arts Festival

Hi All, check out the Visual Arts page on the Hammersmith Arts Festival website:-

http://www.hf-artsfest.com/

Today I went on the (free) Blythe House Tour given by the Science Museum section. The V+A, British and Science Museums have stores at Blythe House, and this is where their enthusiasts resurrect old computers. See:-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blythe_House

I must have driven past this beautiful building hundreds, if not thousands of times, but never before been inside, as rarely is this allowed for the general public.

The tour was most informative and interesting. Among the numerous items viewed were many telephones and radios. In the Computer Restoration area were a couple of Elliott and PDP (steam) Computers.

There are some further tours still to take place. Places are limited and have to be booked.

Please circulate to others who might be interested.

Regards - Mike
