Default 240V Pri - 110V sec 50VA transformer.

Hey guys

Does anyone have a small 50va 110v secondary transformer please. An auto transformer is fine too.

This is for inside an American designed wire recorder.

Cheers

Courtney

Could you use a transformer with two 120V primaries, and use it as an autotransformer?

I have an isolated tranny which might be the spec Courtney is looking for but will have to check its spec and see if it still works, it's got grey cables on both sides in typical American colours.

Just dug it out and it might be too big.

Richard's idea could work if the zero volt of one coil is connected to 120v input of the other coil.

That little RS transformer looks suitable for the job, it should hopefully fit inside the recorder.
