Default How to measurement iA avo ct160 tube tester

Mikko hi. I wonder how to measurement iA exsamble EL84 tubes? Avo mk4 show it right now but how Avo ct 160 show it?

Just go through the normal test procedure first selecting a suitable grid bias voltage and then making no further adjustment to the grid voltage. Once the meter is zeroed (bridge balanced) read the current from the anode current control scales. These controls have no effect on the actual anode current, they just enable it to be measured.

If you want to double check your result, remove the Anode 1 link and substitute a mA meter. It will read half the actual anode current

Hi. If i use that anode link, is upper or lower link +ve?

On mine it's wired with +ve closest to the hinge, -ve adjacent to the selector switch.
