This is a fascinating and intelligent site, Peter. Lots of links to various aspects of TV - particularly good is the early Baird/EMI story.

Only problem: with a dial-up like I have to use (where I live uses fibre optic cabling instead of copper, resulting in no broadband capability. The oldest house here is only six years old! ) the animated graphics take an age to load. Worth the wait, though.
Great.

I found this a brilliant site even though I am a wireless person.
I would recommend anyone to give it a look.
