Default V55 - Information Wanted

Hi, I have been offered what was referred to as a 'Demob' version of the R1155 Receiver. The chap said it was by marketed by Radiovision (he was not too sure about the name) and was called a V55. Does anyone know anything about this Receiver? Can anyone confirm that something like this was marketed after WWII? Any info. would be useful. Thanks, Dave.

Yes, there was. It was advertised in Practical Wireless, and I think it was basically an 1155 with a new front panel and a PSU.

Jim.
