Default C-MOS LOGIC Probe

Hi Guys, My Signal tracer Kit K7000 is now working, thanks to you Guys.

I came across this C-MOS LOGIC Probe in a car boot sale and was wondering if I could use it in conjunction with my Signal tracer, or do I use the probe separately?

A logic probe won't be much use for working on vintage radios.

It's designed for fault finding on logic circuits such as those found in synthesized signal generators etc.

I would add to Graham's comments that it is designed for use on circuits working on about 15 volts or less. If you put a valve radio's HT supply across any connections to the probe, it will destroy the probe circuitry immediately.
Its a useful tool if you decide to have a dabble with digital circuits.
Best to hang on to it, and read up on it. There is loads of info on the 'net on these probes, and they can be very useful. You may find yourself needing to use one one day. Tony.

They also had a switchable version for TTL and CMOS, it also had a pulse detector with a memory function, I sold mine earlier this year.
