Default Rebuilding an EKCO PB199

Posts moved from this thread https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=192217

Thanks, also spotted those yesterday and ordered some.
In the meantime today the cabinet is finished.
Before starting, it looked like it belonged on a bonfire.

Hello Stephen.
That looks a little better than when I delivered it! Well done.
Regards Steve.

I have used NPO ceramics with good luck. 110-140 pf range Realignment would be required. Mil surp glass micas are also useable- if you can find any.

That is a fantastic refinish. Having refinished many cabinets I know only too well that it's the painstaking removal of old paint and detritus from internal corners that is the most difficult and time consuming part of the job, not to mention achieving a flat, mirror like finish to the lacquer. Clearly, all expedited with panache here!
