Default Prinzsound Space helmet, help needed

I have one of these sets that needs a bit of attention. Perhaps I am being a bit thick but I can see no way to get inside. I only see two screws on the top, under the handle but they don't convince me

Can anyone help before I do some damage?
Many thanks.

I don't know if this thread can help:

https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=39320

In particular there is a link at the end of the thread to a page with some pictures of the unit dismantled.

Thanks Ricard,

I looked at the thread and it is a great help. The two screws that did not convince me are in fact the right starting point. I can now at least begin with confidence.

I must take search lessons from my daughter as I missed that thread completely.

Many thanks indeed.

The new search box (very top of the page in the centre) is vastly better than the old one (in the blue bar between New Posts and Quick Links).
