Hacker Gondolier GP42 Repair in Wolverhampton - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

I'm wondering if anybody in Wolverhampton would be willing and able to look at a Gondolier on my behalf?

The complaint is a cracking noise and audio fade out. The solution could be as simple as a noisy volume control or an ECL86 fault.

I bought and serviced the Gondolier in 2018 and sold it in 2022. It was then sold to its current owner.

Are any local members willing to help?

This situation may have solved itself as the Gondolier could be coming my way.
