Default White graphics

I want to replace some damaged tinted perspex glass on a few bits of test equipment I am restoring.

However on the glass are printed white text, originally screen printed I would guess. They are non standard fonts, for example including company logo!

I have done a little searching on the internet, and this seems to be an impossibility for the DIY enthusiast.

Can anyone suggest an option to do this, or produce a reasonably authentic alternative?

Thanks

peter

Default Re: White graphics

Is there any white letraset about in hobby or office supply shops?

Can you scan it and get printed off on a thin OHP slide or similar and just have it in black rather than white, won't be original but won't look bad.

Some computer printers (HP) I think have a white cartridge - think they use a kind of melted wax, some of the large copy centres might have one or try to contact the graphic arts department of your local college or university (Manchester Met?) to see if they can help.

I have a local perspex supply centre, they can cut and shape the clear stuf , and a good sign shop should have white viynil sheets they can laser or mechanically cut from computer output.
