Some nice pics of Philips recorders.I like the earlier Philips M/cs like EL3541 and especially EL3549 { I have an old Stella version of this model} plus the upright battery portable. Can't remember the number but it had 3in reels .The old m/cs didnt seem as badly affected by the gooey rubber belts etc.. Anyway thanks for that..Reelguyl

Unhappy Re: Vintage T.V & Radio/Audio Reel To Reel

Thanks for that Reelguy, I too like the pictures of the Philips machines My only complaint about the site (and others like it) is that they dont always show photographs of the internals of the machines, just the outside which i find annoying .

Regards.

P.S The 4307 is doing very well thanks .

Hi Andrew and others. It would be useful to show the internals of various recorders but it is a time consuming exercise ,Since buying a digital camera I often take pics of the insides of M/cs as I {Fix}fiddle with them. This way ,If I remove a spring or something similar I can refer to the pic to show how it goes back if I forget. Anyway nice to know the 4307 is going well . Reelguy
