Default Searching datasheets from internet

Searching component data sheets from internet can be difficult. It is not that one would not get any results - quite often Your screen becomes overwhelmed by results - all of which are not quite what You had expected.

There are two sites I normally use whenever I need to know what the component is all about.

There is a very reliable tube search engine @ http://www.mif.pg.gda.pl/homepages/frank/vs.html

For semiconductors I use http://www.datasheetarchive.com/

If both of these fail I either give up of fall back to google if I have a lot of time in hands.
