Hi folks, after the interest my last post generated I thought people might be interested in other items I've found. Some of these I can't identify

Hi Some decent modern (by our standards) test equipment there.
There is a collection of digital integrated circuits from possibly early computers
A resistance test set
No idea what the blue box is#A test pattern generator for colour TV
A capacitance test meter

Cheers, Ed

The second item is an analogue insulation and continuity meter. A specification can be seen here; https://testequipment.center/Product...ions-4B2AD.pdf

It has a wide range of insulation test voltages and a maximum value of 100Gohms.

The maximum continuity test current is 60mA at 300mV against 200mA at 4 - 24V required by BS61557-4 for electrical testing to BS7671.

Some more that might be of interest, I've yet to look at the paper boxes but I will post anything interesting.

One mystery solved - the blue box is a clock (I got brave and plugged it in) I've attached a picture of the internal workings - I guess it might have been a kit as the box isn't a thing of beauty.

Some nice tools there, the long red thing that looks like Harry Potter's wand on steroids is a high voltage probe, pic 2 wot it says on the leaflet, isolated mains supply, little bench drill press, some sort of TV arial adaptor kit maybe.

The last one is a Greenpar inter series adaptor kit. Nice things. The spanners are used to screw the various halves together.

In the chips I see a couple of FDD controllers, one WD1772 and another an intel 8271 as used in the BBC model B - just add DFS EPROM and you have a FDD capable model B.

Also CPUs 6502, 65C02, 6809

Also a uPD7002C 12 bit analogue to digital converter, again used in BBC model B in the analogue / joystick interface.

I would hope some of these would be of interest to someone.
