I have the above radio which was very heavily smoke dammage from it previous home. I have cleaned it up very well outside and in. It know works very well on all bands. But the only problem i have when using tuner there are spots it crackles on it has a lot of smoke colouring and dust. Is there a good cleaner to get rid of the crackle on the certain spots or to clean the hole tuner please an you advise

The problem is shorting tuning vanes, tune to where it crackles & look carefully to see a touching vane, it can be bent back in to place with care.
