Very, very interesting

It leaves me wondering why they did that one in each case. Also as they seem to use compatible bases I think many must date from things they'd come across and wanted to start making for themselves. That valve list isn't of parts created in isolation.

It came about with a discussion on another forum about 6J5 valves in one of those Chinese cheapo preamp wotsits kits, the valves were glass minature 7 pin, not octal.
