Very, very interesting
It leaves me wondering why they did that one in each case. Also as they seem to use compatible bases I think many must date from things they'd come across and wanted to start making for themselves. That valve list isn't of parts created in isolation. Hmmmm Thanks, David

It came about with a discussion on another forum about 6J5 valves in one of those Chinese cheapo preamp wotsits kits, the valves were glass minature 7 pin, not octal.
