Default Marconi 296

I have found a marconi 296 radio in my loft. It is in a good condition, it has all it's knobs, grilles, and back. The wiring inside has begun to crumble. Cannot find much information on the net. Is it rare? valuble? restorable? Can anyone help me find a good home for it.

These have a collectable valve in them but are not 'very' rare. Assuming the case is serviceable these make very attractive sets and I would be very happy to provide it a home where it will be restored. I'll send you a PM.
