Default Gordon Russell museum, Murphy sets.

If you're out in the Cotswolds area the "Gordon Russell museum" in Broadway is well worth a visit.
Known for very fine well made and designed furniture Gordon Russell made many of the cabinets for Murphy radios too.
The museum proves to be very informative and an enjoyable experience.
I now want a Gordon Russell table to put one of my Murphy sets on!

Default Re: Gordon Russell museum, Murphy sets.

Thanks for the information Clive. Next time we are in the area we shall visit. I served my Radio and a TV apprenticeship in a Murphy dealership and I always admired the beautiful Murphy Cabinets.
Cheers
John
