It's some ad alright, though by no means on it's own for wild and bizarre claims by obscure manufacturers of snake oil in those days. I often wonder how many people were ripped off and became disillusioned with the hobby?
Seven aerials in one. Must get a gallon of that "Siltit" chemical Evermoist earth when I'm at it.... |

There have always been aerial cons and they continue to the present day with those flat plate digital HD aerials with 46dB gain 70 miles range or whatever.
