Are there any Vintage Radio/Electronics groups or societies in the north of Scotland ?

Hi David

there are no vintage wireless socieities in scotland as such. There are however are some amateur radio groups. You will also find a number of BVWS members across the country. Many of them including myself are involved in the Museum of Communications in Burntisland, Fife see here: http://www.mocft.co.uk/ We form a loosely knit community of like minded souls with similar interests, and you would be most welcome to visit us at the museum.
