Thank you. A great look at the television aerials of yore and how these huge things were mounted.
Aerials are called "demented hat stands" in this film, and I've mentioned on this forum before how in the '50s my father wouldn't have one on our chimney. Instead, it was to be a Ch.1 inverted T and a Ch.9 yagi in the loft joined with a diplexer. The trendy word today for the H's and X's would perhaps be "iconic". Steve |

What a great film, however, it would have been better still if they had shown what a decent picture should look like! All they show is the bad ghosting; it would have made more of an impression if they then compared that to the picture via the Telefusion system, which was the whole point of the film.
