Ah - that was the first set I ever sold! It went to a school friend for £15 in around 1976. I always thought the 'hewn from a tree' look was a bit of an acquired taste.
Then I bought a basket case dual standard G6....

Came to this thread late. I recognised it by the first photo as I had an identical set once which I never got round to working on. It had an incorrect dropper fitted with several polo mint sections. I plugged it in and got a small sized picture. The CRT looked poor.

It ended up in the loft where I lived at the time, then I left Torquay soon afterwards.

I wonder if its still up there 31 years later?
