IF Transformers - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

I'm having trouble finding a supplier of IF transformers for vintage transistor radios, in the UK.

Can anyone help, please?

Mouser are easy to deal with. UK facing website priced in sterling. They handle customs, taxes etc. Parts turn up in your mail a few days later from Texas. I've used them for a number of years.

Part of Berkshire-Hathaway, Warren Buffet's company. A rather large operation.

Hi. Thanks for the info.

I went on mouser yesterday and searched for 'IF Transformers' and it returned nothing, but I was looking at the UK site.

They seem to be listed as audio/small signal transformers.

To save money I look for old radios and remove the IF transformers and test the Ohms.

Are you looking for the Toko style IF transformers or the older larger varieties?
