Re: 6 watt push-pull amplifier
I like the style and precision of your tagstrip-wiring: I've done a few designs that way myself.

Re: 6 watt push-pull amplifier
I agree, that's a very handsome example of construction there. Both inside and out!

Re: 6 watt push-pull amplifier
It looks really elegant. Did you use a published circuit design? I've been meaning to get round to building an EL95 push-pull amp for over a year now.

Re: 6 watt push-pull amplifier
Very tidy and well thought out layout.
It is always worth the extra work and time required to plan and make a project well and have it look beautiful when it is finished, then you can be very proud of it, which you should be, well done. |

Re: 6 watt push-pull amplifier
It would be interesting to see the circuit, with information about the transformers and their covers. Beautiful work.

Re: 6 watt push-pull amplifier
Hi
transformers - from tbt-trafobau, bought on german ebay hint-ausgangubertrager. covers -it was stainless steel kitchen containers circuit-before 0.47uF cap is 50k potentiometer, triode strapped EF95 ,( enough for input from CD ) can be also connected as pentode but in this case you have to remember some of EF95 are very microphonic, in feedback loop is 20k resistor, fixed bias from PSU on LM317 then potentiometers, capacitors in anode circuit (1500pF) depend on transformer build , from 1nF to 2,2 nF Heaters are biased on +70V (Vch 90V) |

Re: 6 watt push-pull amplifier
Very nice, that's proper electronic equipment. Everything I repaired my first few years in the trade was built like that.
