Default Blaupunkt 2300

A very nice Blaupunkt brought to life on AM the fault was due to the same problem as some small USA sets .

That is migration of the silver that makes up the fixed tuning cap in the IF can causing a slight increase in capacitance.

With the aid of the mini drill i was able to isolate the pin from the capacitor by drilling through one plate of the cap

A big thankyou to Kev for sending me the cct i would have struggled without it as the capacitors were different values the primary was 150pf and the sec was 250 pf you wouldn't guess would you.

These having beed fitted a quick allignment 460 k c/s peaked up nicely

giving superb performance on all wavebands .

Now to repair and re paint the case.
