Ferranti U1032
I picked this set up last year at Mikey's meet-up. It appears to be already resurrected with replacement resistors, caps and valves. The mains electrolytic is a RS version. The case appears to had a hard time with evidence things got a bit melty with the left hand side of the case repaired from the mishap.
The performance is superb - probably one of the best valve FM radios I have come across! I finally decided to treat it to a bit more attention and give it another check over as it has been getting a lot of use recently. One Hunts 0.005 Mfd cap had turned into a 20K resistor so I replaced this and another remaining Hunts cap. The DM70 tuning indicator is lit but does not respond much to signal strength but I will leave things be for now as the set is working very well on all bands. A great little radio and an interesting comparison to my Ferranti A1016. I will look out for a replacement case.

Re: Ferranti U1032
Another Ferranti badged Ekco, though I can't remember the Ekco model number offhand. There was also a VHF only variant. The plastic cases do tend to suffer from heat damage. They are indeed good performers with surprisingly good sound quality. The DM70 filament supply is taken from the UL84 cathode, so if 'that cap' is leaky the DM70 is often a casualty.
