Re: BVWS North West of England swap meet
Crikey
what a day! Having been in a darkened room for an hour or two........... thanks to everyone that attended, and to Mike Barker for the first showing of the pre war tellie! what a treat! Tried my best to prise it from Russ' hands to no avail, even the wife liked it!!!! appologies to everyone that brought stuff for me that I had forgotten about.........guessing old age is creeping up on me, my filing system needs some adjustment! It is has once again been worth the effort to see so many attend, not only table holders but visitors. I have a feeling the bring and buy did even better. thanks also to steve p and Tink could not have done it without you! Thank you to all for your continued support. cheers Mark |

Hi there, I just saw your post. Steve was quite preoccupied with a tricky Philips I brought with me He has taken it with him for further investigation.

Re: BVWS North West of England swap meet
I am really sorry I could not be there. It certainly seems that everyone who was able to get there really enjoyed it.
I do have November 21st (?) in my diary, and certainly plan to be there. Edward |

Re: BVWS North West of England swap meet
I think it made thirty-something pounds. I can't be more specific because further items sold after I had counted up and passed on the takings.
Incidentally, the pile of left-overs from the bring & buy actually grew during the packing up. Expect to see some of them served up again at NVCF! By the way, many thanks to Mike Barker for the demonstration of 240-line television (and to Jeffrey for supplying the converter) - something I've never seen before.
