Unhappy UHER Report-L Circuit Dagrams

Can anyone in the group please help. I have two Report-L's both of which have electronics faults among other faults. I have been looking on the WWW for Circuit Diag Downloads (FREE) but not able to locate any. Can anyone offer me some help here please. NigelB -Woodstock.

Hello woodstock,
You could try Google . search for http://www.servicemanuals.de.vu/
. You may go sraight there but if it shows ZURRUCKZUR STARTSEITE.
Translate this page, Click on translate..
Webpage will show alphabet. Click on U. Then Click on Uher.

Page will show various models
Look for 4000 report L . On the right is Schaltplan ? Service/ Arcting ?
650 K. 540 K

These are mostly mechanical info but with some electronics shown..
I downloaded this ages ago and printed it . Hope this helps.
I will give it another try in a minute to check itworks OK.

Red face Re: UHER Report-L Circuit Dagrams

To Reelguy -- thanks - it needed to be long winded for me. Got it all but I dont know how to translate !! At least I have a start. Now I can connect a PSU to it to try out. Thanks for the help. This one has been dropped (ex BBC) case now straightned out - a clunking when motor run (on Batteries) from RHS. Lots of work to be done. Bye for now. NigelB (M0FOG).

Nigel,
If you google for it and that Zurruck thingy comes up . It says translate this page. Then it should be in a form of english most of which we can understand.
If you download the Service Manual it has three columns the centre one of which is in English.. Also has a lot of diagrms.

I have just checked that site again. When it comes up with a list of the various models. Click on 330K on the top right of the list. This will give you the Servicemanual and diagrams.

Thanks for the help. I have the circuits - need a triple magnifying glass to read them. I will have to locate a safe point to attach power to. 6v I guess - probably to somewhere in the battery box. Might give it a try on Wednesday - 21st ; Once again - thanks for the help.

This really belongs in another thread but there's certainly something nasty about that web site. AVG didn't flag a virus but apart from popups it wanted me to instal some bits of Office 2000. I didn't hang around to find out what was really happening and I'm doing an AdAware or Spybot check.

Your right , Just checked it again , Had a pop up which was blocked by AVG. Otherwise OK. Will have a look at the circuit diagram which is readable if you hang on for a moment. Small Orange box ,bottom left ,click on that and it expands you can see the component values clearer.

Will try to print that out later.
