Teac A-3340S overhaul inc new electronics
I wondered if it is feasible to replace/upgrade the signal path electronics in the A-3340S? It needs an overhaul anyway (capstan solenoid not firing properly, track 3 doesn't play properly) but it is also rather noisy, electronically. I was wondering if there is any mileage in 'updating' the circuitry, externally if necessary. I can lose the mic inputs but the internal hiss and hum might benefit from a different approach. Any clues as to who might help in the UK?
Thanks Dominic |
