Shango 66 [also on Youtube] seemed to have a great deal of 'fun' restoring one for a client too!

They seem to be quite desirable/in demand by American collectors too.

(Philco quality with regard to TV's in particular doesn't seem to be particularly impressive - if American collectors are to be believed.)

Nice/stylish bit of design tho' ..... in fact, the articulated versions were years ahead of their time vis-à-vis today's wall-mounted/swing bracketed flat screens eh? Indeed, some of the American TV [cabinet] designs were quite adventurous by comparison to our own rather staid post-war 'piece of furniture' standards.
