Default R.I.P. Ed Doolan.

Ed Doolan, veteran broadcaster who started on Birmingham's BRMB - has died, aged 76.

I remember listening to him while revising for exams.

Started listening to Ed back in '77 when I had my first FM radio, on BRMB.

He hosted a great consumer program for many years, helped a lot of midlanders get their problems resolved with various authorities and organisations.

Some may say he sounded a bit grumpy at times but he genuinely cared about the folk in his community.

Sadly missed..
